It's Official... I'm a Cityville Addict!

Caezar 3: This is one hell of a game! A must try!

I've been attempting to write a blog entry for the past weeks but whenever I arrive home and turn on my laptop, I end up playing Cityville 'til I'm too tired write. =( I can't believe I  got addicted to a sim game again! grrrr
You see, I believe I started playing these types of games since I was in highschool. I used to play Caezar III and Sim City. Me and my bestfriend Cheng would spend hours and hours at the net shop. I remember also getting addicted to Starcraft that time. College came and I once again got addicted thanks to my then bf Jr who was also a game freak like me. We got addicted to Emperor and WarCraft and The Sims. I remember playing until sunrise! Shit! These games can really affect your routine... especially for someone like me.

A lot of things happened these past weeks. It's a very busy month indeed and it seems that the 1st quarter of my year will be composed of many travels. Adventures galore!

Tonight, my original plan was to write about an experiment which I just started but as usual, I got hooked on CityVille again so I've decided to just blog about it! What the heck!?

 Ok ok, not to sound defensive but I believe playing games like these do help our brains function better. You see, unlike other games which only require you to hold a weapon and kill someone, games like these enable you to plan, analyze and manage a scene. In short, it enables our coconuts to work.  I believe these games have helped me develop my creativity a lot because of the freedom which it gives the player to design and control the game.  No wonder I easily fell in-love with this game. I recommended it to my friends and they too instantly got hooked!

Let me show you my progress so far. Allow me to personally tour you around my Maejestic Village! lols!
It's not just any city.. I've meticulously designed it hehehehe and placed an army of canines for the security of my demanding population...

 This is my  city's shopping center complete with a tennis court and a concert ground where citizens can watch concerts 24/7. You may also find some bars, restos and shops. The main attraction of my plaza is my famous cinema dedicated to porn.. I call it the House of Porn! lols!!!

Here I've built an exclusive area only for housings and decorated them with lots of flowers, recreation areas and some shops to help my citizens live THE LIFE. Oh! I've also placed a lot of guard dogs of course. My city says a lot about my personality... I'm naturally very protective of my territory. Whenever I visit my neighbor's city, I also learn a lot about their personalities and how they think as well. I dunno if they're aware of this but believe me, I can be quite analytical and observant.

 This section of upscale condos are for my middle class citizens. There is no poverty in my city... only ABUNDANCE!!

 Ok, now we go to the Hotel Suites and Mansions area which is for my filthy rich and famous citizens. Still heavily guarded by dogs. I placed an expo tent for social activities. I also placed a 4 star coffee shop called Star Boi's (Frank's) so my citizens can easily grab a cup of coffee after a stroll at the park. Also, I placed Badeth's flower shop to supply fresh blooms daily for my tenants.

 I currently have quite a huge agricultural area to supply products for my city but I'm seriously thinking of giving it up because I want my city to look more urban by placing more modern buildings.... I'd like to maximize my space as well.

 Instead of maintaining space consuming farms, I've decided to make my city into a more globalized one by building a lot of piers so it can trade goods globally. Naks!!

I hope Zynga would design  more modern ships and not just  boats. Heheheh Am I being demanding now?
I really enjoy watching my boats set sail! hehehe

 As you can see, my citizens are always jumping for joy! Like in real life, I want everybody to choose to be happy like me. hehehehe
I can't wait to reach level 60. I'm really not in a hurry though. I only play during my free time. I'm actually playing as I'm writing this entry. I get a lot of gift requests from my neighbors all the time. I really love the game interface and the interaction between players. The game is a genius! Oh I just turned level 41!!

I hope someone can analyze my personality based on how I've designed my city so far. What do you think?
I hope I can find more time to harvest and collect rent. 1 level a day would be ideal if time permits. Good thing my neighbors are always there to rescue my crops! I really appreciate it! I need to manage my time more to plan my activities.

*sigh* it's so difficult to play a game like this with my schedule. I still have loads of projects to do and so many topics to write about.. phew!

I can't wait to blog about my trip last week and the experiment which I started today!!
